Team Communication: Slack

https://slack.com/

Slack offers a communication platform that is multipurpose. We would have the ability to share Google Suite documents inside the program, share conversations on Trello Boards, and create team or project-specific communication channels.

Document Sharing: Google Drive

Google Drive not only has great cloud-sharing options between the whole Google Suite but also integrates into Slack and Trello for the ability to share files. It also offers useful features such as seamless access to all files on multiple devices and is great for collaboration.

Prototyping: Figma

https://www.figma.com/

Figma is my choice for a prototyping tool over the next best, Adobe XD because Figma is web-based. Instead of us designing one part of the program and sharing and collaborating on another as we do in XD, Figma has combined spaces, so all designs can be shared as a link and worked on in a single space.

Time Tracking & Project Management: Trello

https://trello.com/en

Trello has lots of great add-ons, called power-ups. One of them, called Time Tracking & Reporting, allows us to download an integration directly into Trello that helps us to create time reports, see who worked on what projects, and how much time they spent on them, and provides estimates and reality for the overall time spent on projects or tasks. Trello also opens up all Google Suite files and Slack conversations into Trello cards for seamless project management.

Code Testing: Selenium

https://www.selenium.dev/

This testing framework allows you to test across multiple platforms and multiple browsers, simplifying the process of cross-testing. It also offers us the ability to write tests in multiple languages so there is no extra learning curve to using the software. Selenium also integrates directly with Git, making it just a little more efficient than other options.

Version Control: Git

https://git-scm.com/

Git offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to working on singular and multiple projects. They offer a branching feature that gives users the opportunity to work together, separately and then brings content together when desired. The workflow can be customized for projects of all shapes and sizes. There is also the ability for Selenium to integrate into GIT, so you can create and test your code all in one place.

Digital Marketing Analytics: Hootsuite

Hootsuite offers a great set of analytics where we could see everything for all of our social networks in one place. We would have the ability to set goals and monitor progress, export report charts into external programs, and use their wide set of tools to help streamline our digital marketing. Hootsuite also offers great team collaboration tools so everyone would be able to see what each other were up to and communicate changes effectively. Hootsuite can also connect to Google Analytics which in turn can connect to the Google Suite.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Moz Pro

https://moz.com/seo-tool

While Hootsuite offers great analytics than can improve our SEO through best practices, they don’t offer SEO specific features. Moz offers over 55 different SEO tools to help with driving traffic, improving search rankings, and successful purchases. Some features include Competitor Tracking, SERP Analysis, Page Optimization, Crawl Diagnoses, Alerts for any problems that are found or arise, and more. Moz Pro can also connect to Google Analytics which in turn can connect into the Google Suite.

Page Speed Testing: Google

https://pagespeed.web.dev/

Just to bring it back to Google, another one of their tools is their Page Speed Test. They offer insights on Metrics, Treemaps, Opportunities, Diagnostics, testing for mobile and desktop, and the passed audits. It is a free program and is in the Google Family, making it easy to keep a track of.
